About Bushwillow Caravan Park

The Shaw family have been on this farm since 1852. The Karkloof range is one of the largest privately owned indigenous forests. It has been the pride and joy of all the five generations who’ve lived here.

Hikers, birders and lovers of flora and fauna, have over the years enjoyed disappearing among the “giants” for a day, far from the bustle of everyday life.

To allow many more to enjoy this privilege, owners, Irvine and Angela, have long dreamt of ways to make the area more accessible.

The bushwillow, Combretum Kraussii, flourishes in this area, hence the name Bushwillow Park. The seasonal colour changes are spectacular.

Caravan Park

Caravanners and Campers have ample space on the grassed terraces. Tucked under the magnificent Karkloof indigenous forest, all sites  have electricity. There are four dams, plenty of flora and fauna and bird life is in abundance.

Waking up to the sounds of nature, make for a truly, relaxing experience.

This environment is paradise!

P.S. The ablution block is spacious and clean!!
